We are currently recruiting for an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer / Specialist for our client in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. The successful candidate will be working within the Engineering team and will provide support managing MOCs and maintenance capital projects. Job Responsibilities: Work closely with automation team and operation in identifying and executing I&C related MOCs throughout the plant. Review/approve I&C deliverables. Create Scope of Work and IFC Packages. Participate in technical review meetings and provide technical support. RFI Support. Provide support for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities. Qualifications include, but not limited to: B.Sc in Process or Electrical Engineering (emphasis on Process Control would be an asset. 10 years hands on experience. P.Eng. designation with APEGA is an asset. Strong technical/computer background. Strong communication and organization skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as within a team environment Ability to manage multiple priorities and assignments Job Type: Fixed term contract Contract length: 12 months Pay: $60.00-$90.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: In person
