Our office is looking for a Full Time Accounting Technician to join the Assurance & Accounting team and own the following responsibilities: Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems Prepare tax returns Prepare financial statements and reports Communicate with clients on administrative matters and provide functional advice to other team members Other duties as assigned How do we define success for your role? You understand your client''s industry, challenges, and opportunities; client describe you as positive, professional, and delivering high-quality work You identify, recommend, & are focused on effective service delivery to your clients You actively participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive an innovative workplace You grow your expertise through learning & professional development You work well with a team Your experience and education Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting technician role Completed a diploma or certificate in Accounting or Business Experience and knowledge with Microsoft Suite programs, and Caseware Experience preparing T4s and T5s. Knowledge of personal and corporate tax Value client service and quality in detailed work Display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills Ability to prioritize with the flexibility to manage workload demands and multiple tasks with keeping an awareness of deadlines critical to client service Why Hosenbocus & Co.?
