Job Summary CareForte is hiring Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to provide non-medical home care services to clients in Kanata and nearby communities. This is a casual, on-call role. Shifts are offered based on client assignments and worker availability. There are no guaranteed hours. This role is well-suited for PSWs seeking flexible or supplemental work. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide essential care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home care environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients by offering personalized support with daily activities, health needs, and emotional well-being. This role is vital in ensuring clients receive respectful, attentive, and professional care tailored to their unique needs. Duties: Provide personal care and assistance in clients'' homes Support activities of daily living (personal hygiene, mobility) Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed Follow care plans and agency policies Communicate professionally with clients and CareForte management Requirements (Mandatory): Valid PSW certificate from a recognized Ontario institution Valid G2/G-class driver''s license and access to a reliable vehicle Current CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before first shift) Legally eligible to work in Canada Ability to travel within Kanata and surrounding areas Reliable, professional, and compassionate Knowledge of patient care techniques and caregiving best practices Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, or home care is preferred Applicants who do not meet the mandatory requirements will not be considered.
