Job Overview Rockland Imaging is seeking a motivated and compassionate Full-Time X-Ray Technologist (MRT[R]) to join our growing outpatient diagnostic imaging clinic. Under the supervision of clinic leadership, the X-Ray Technologist produces high-quality diagnostic radiographs while ensuring minimal radiation exposure and maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, privacy, and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to established protocols and physician requisitions Ensure patient safety, comfort, accurate positioning, and radiation protection Explain procedures clearly to patients and respond to questions professionally Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently Use PACS systems to process images and complete accurate patient documentation Accurately document patient information and imaging data Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and clinic staff Maintain compliance with CMRITO standards, clinic policies, and provincial regulations Maintain a clean, organized, and professional imaging environment Protect patient privacy and maintain strict confidentiality Qualifications Successful completion of an accredited Medical Radiation Technology (MRT) program Registered or eligible for registration and in good standing with CMRITO CAMRT certification preferred Previous clinical placement or outpatient experience considered an asset Bilingual (English/French) considered an asset Requirements Valid Ontario MRT license (CMRITO) Professional liability insurance (e.g., OAMRS) Current CPR certification Legal eligibility to work in Canada Ability to work full-time Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient care principles Required Abilities & Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good organizational skills and attention to detail Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care Ability to manage workload efficiently in a busy clinical environment Why Join Rockland Imaging Supportive environment On-the-job guidance and mentorship Full-time, stable employment Competitive compensation based on experience Apply today by submitting your resume.
