About us: Hospice Georgian Triangle provides compassionate care at Campbell House, and within the community, for individuals and families dealing with life-limiting illness living in the towns of Blue Mountains, Clearview, Collingwood, and Wasaga Beach. All care programs come at no cost and focus on the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of both the patient and family, enhancing quality of life. Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation''s purpose is to raise the funds that allows Hospice Georgian Triangle to provide exceptional hospice palliative care and community programming. Work location and schedule: daily on-site presence at the Foundation office, with a minimum of one day per week at Campbell House to source stories and represent the Foundation. The role requires occasional evenings/weekends for events or urgent media. Flex time arranged, as approved. The role: Reporting to the Executive Director, Foundation, you''ll lead day-to-day communications and deliver strategic marketing for both Hospice Georgian Triangle (25%) and the Foundation (75%). You''ll plan campaigns, pitch media, create content and support events, grow awareness, engagement and philanthropy. What you''ll do: Own the annual marketing & communications plan: newsletters, impact/annual report, donor stories, website, email and social content. Build a 12-month editorial calendar: publish on schedule and on brand. Write, edit and route approvals for press releases, advertising, web pages, speeches and campaign assets. Partner with digital media coordinator and designer: manage timelines and vendors. Market signature events: pre-event promotion, sponsorship collateral, on-site signage/digital, post-event stewardship. Maintain media lists, pitch stories, arrange interviews and photo ops. Monitor media/social daily, maintain library of relevant media. Create and update collateral for programs and services for Campbell House and community programs (brochures, welcome packages, content for web pages). Support internal communications (staff/volunteer newsletters, key updates). Curate photo/video libraries with permissions and metadata. Support issues/crisis communications with senior leadership as needed. You have: Post-secondary degree/diploma in communications, public relations, marketing or related field. 4+ years in communications/PR/marketing (non-profit or health care an asset). Excellent writing and editing (CP style an asset), strong interviewing/storytelling. Media relations experience (pitching, briefing, interview coordination). Project management skills, able to juggle multiple deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft 365/Office and collaboration tools. Working knowledge of email and CRM (e.g., Mailchimp/Blackbaud Marketing, Salesforce), web/CMS (WordPress or similar), design tools (Adobe CC and/or Canva) and social media management (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite).
