From emerging artists to major touring acts, we host highvolume events that demand strong leadership, smart coordination, and flawless execution. Responsibilities Lead and supervise frontofhouse staff during events (bar, security, box office, floor staff) Act as the primary onshift contact for staff, artists, promoters, and vendors Work directly with and report to the Venue General Manager Coordinate with promoters and marketing partners to ensure smooth event execution Assist with event promotions, marketing initiatives, and onsite activations Support organization of promoters, guest lists, ticketing flows, and show logistics Manage crowd flow, guest experience, and overall venue atmosphere Oversee regular venue maintenance and upkeep, ensuring the space is safe and showready Perform basic maintenance tasks and operate simple hand and power tools as needed (minor repairs, fixes, setup adjustments) Identify, document, and report monthly on repairs, upgrades, and operational improvements Handle cashouts, endofnight reports, and incident documentation Enforce venue policies, Alberta liquor laws, and safety standards Troubleshoot issues in real time and keep events running smoothly Support staff performance, morale, and professionalism on shift What Were Looking For 2+ years experience in hospitality, nightlife, or liveevent management Marketing or promotion experience is an asset Comfortable performing basic handymanstyle tasks and using common tools Experience working with promoters, guest lists, and event marketing teams Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills Calm, confident decisionmaking under pressure Experience managing busy, highvolume environments Knowledge of Alberta liquor laws and crowd management (ProServe required) Ability to work late nights, weekends, and eventbased schedules Passion for live music and nightlife culture is a strong asset Why Work With Us Be part of an iconic venue and growing entertainment group Work concerts, DJ nights, and special events no two shifts are the same Competitive hourly wage (based on experience) Opportunity for growth into senior venue or operations management Fastpaced, culturedriven environment How to Apply Please send your resume (and a short intro if youd like) to: cc line: Shift / Floor Manager Pawn Shop Live #J-18808-Ljbffr
