Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Specialist Embassy Ingredients Ltd invites applications for the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Specialist role. This position offers a salary range of $75,000$125,000. At Embassy Ingredients, you will join a fastpaced entrepreneurial environment that is growing at a rate of 20% yearoveryear, integrating artificial intelligence with ERP systems, and exploring international purchasing opportunities. Your Role Will Be Responsible For: Manage and oversee the procurement of raw materials, contracts, and essential goods and services Establish and enforce the Purchasing departments budget Evaluate, update, and implement purchasing policies to optimize processes Maintain accurate inventory records to proactively identify when new stock is needed and avoid shortages Lead hard negotiations on behalf of the organization for all purchases within the Purchasing department while maintaining strong, longterm relationships with vendors Source flavor ingredients from both international and local suppliers, evaluating based on quality, cost, reliability, and compliance with international trade regulations Provide backup support to the Replenishment and Planning team, ensuring seamless operations and continuity What You Need to Bring to Embassy: 35 years of progressive experience in a mid to seniorlevel purchasing role in a bakery environment A university or college degree in business administration, commerce, economics, or a relevant field Designation in Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) is an asset Enthusiasm for a forwardthinking, hightech environment driven by AI and ERP integration Expertise in effectively managing and overseeing departmental budgets Proven leadership with outstanding communication and hard negotiation skills Ability to excel in dynamic, collaborative environments, fostering positivity and teamwork to achieve shared goals and drive success Comprehensive expertise and deep insights into the market Exceptional analytical and reporting skills Thrives in a highenergy, fastpaced setting with a strong get it done now attitude Exceptional at staying organized and detailfocused with the ability to master time management to drive efficiency and deliver results Seniority level Associate Employment type Fulltime Job function Purchasing Embassy Ingredients is committed to providing accommodations for applicants with disabilities through the recruitment, selection and/or assessment process.
