Job Description

Job Overview : The Health Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant will be responsible for handling clerical tasks in the ?Esdilagh First Nation Health office. The Health Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant will be handling all patient travel correspondence, incoming phone calls and other communications, greeting clients and visitors, as well as managing files, updating paperwork and other documents, and performing other general office clerk duties and errands. Key Responsibilities: Receiving calls, emails and messages, routing communication and correspondence appropriately Manages all patient travel coordination Manages reporting on patient travel Assists other staff when necessary Maintaining a substantial filing system (paper and digital) Recording information as needed Greeting clients and visitors as needed Updating paperwork, maintaining documents, and word processing Helping organize and maintain office common areas Routine photocopying, typing, spreadsheets, filing, and other administrative duties Provide support and communication on flights, hotel rooms, conference room(s), and/or on-site catering to ensure all is confirmed Coordinating events as necessary Maintaining supply inventory Maintaining office equipment as needed Aiding with client reception as needed Maintaining a detailed list of updated contacts (paper and digital) Creating, maintaining, and entering information into databases Any other duties assigned by management Qualifications: Post secondary education in a relevant field (Administration, Communications, Etc.) would be an asset Minimum 2 years experience in an administrative role Superior verbal and written communication skills Ability to make a variety of guests in the office feel welcome Ability to work well under limited supervision Valid class 5 driver''s license Working Conditions: Travel will be required to Community daily Travel allowance will be provided Ability to attend and conduct presentations Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and additional hardware Overtime as required Lifting or moving up to 10lbs may be required To apply, please send a resume, cover letter and three references to: Barb Johnson - HR Generalist ?Esdilagh First Nation Elliott St. Chief Frank Joe Health Centre West Fraser Rd.
