Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient seating arrangements. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive dining experience by managing reservations, greeting guests, and maintaining the flow of service in the restaurant. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the seating process efficiently. Maintain an organized reservation system to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction. Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy, enhancing guest relations. Assist in managing waitlists during peak hours, providing updates to guests as needed. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS or Micros POS) for managing reservations and orders as necessary. Uphold high standards of customer service throughout the dining experience. Experience Previous host/host or food service experience is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen sense of phone etiquette. Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving techniques and guest services. Experience in hotel settings or related fields is a plus but not required.
