Position Overview The Youth Coordinator will lead the effort to build and develop a dynamic bible base youth ministry that encourages young people to grow in faith, holiness, and service to God. This individual will organize activities, events, and outreach efforts that strengthen youth relationships with Christ, the church, and one another. The coordinator will work closely with the Pastor and leadership team to create a Christ-centered, Spirit-led environment that aligns with biblical teachings and values. Key Responsibilities 1. Youth Ministry Development Build a strong youth department from the ground up, rooted in biblical teaching and holiness standards. Develop a vision and structure for the youth ministry, including programs for discipleship, outreach, and fellowship. Recruit, mentor, and train youth leaders and volunteers. Establish a consistent schedule of youth services, Bible studies, and activities. Activities & Events Plan and coordinate youth-centered events such as prayer nights, Bible studies, social gatherings, service projects, and community outreach. Organize special events such as youth revivals, rallies, and participation in district or fellowship youth conventions. Collaborate with other ministry teams to integrate youth involvement into the broader life of the church. Spiritual Growth & Mentorship Encourage young people to develop a strong relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, worship, and studying God''s Word. Provide spiritual guidance and mentorship, helping youth navigate challenges through a biblical lens. Foster an atmosphere that promotes the infilling of the Holy Ghost, baptism in Jesus'' Name, and living a life of holiness. Build positive relationships with parents to support the spiritual development of their children. Communication & Administration Maintain clear communication with the Pastor, church staff, parents, and youth members. Manage and oversee the youth ministry budget responsibly. Promote youth events through church announcements, social media, and other outreach tools. Ensure compliance with church safety and child protection policies. Qualifications Spirit-filled believer in alignment with biblical and teachings. Active member in good standing within the church. Demonstrated experience or calling in youth ministry or leadership. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Able to lead by example in prayer, holiness, and integrity. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
