Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. At least 5-year bartending experience is required. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. This role requires a blend of creativity, efficiency, and strong interpersonal skills. Location Yonge & Bloor Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure the bar is well-stocked. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe environment for both staff and customers. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service. Skills Proficient in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements. Previous experience in bartending or within the food industry is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Strong hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing and payment handling. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Ready to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
