Civil Engineering Technology Co-op Student - L.C.L. Excavation Inc. Join our team L.C.L. Excavation is hiring a Civil Engineering Technology Co-op Student to work in a field role in support of our municipal and civil infrastructure projects. This position provides hands-on field experience in construction layout, grade checking, and surveying while working alongside experienced professionals. Key Responsibilities Assist with construction layout using GPS, total station, and survey levels Support grade checks for pipe crews, road crews, and equipment operators Collect field measurements for quantities, as-built records, and progress tracking Help interpret drawings, alignments, and profiles to support accurate construction Maintain survey notes, data, and digital files in an organized manner Communicate with supervisors, foremen, and project managers Follow all safety procedures and company policies What We''re Looking For Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering Technology Co-op program Interest in surveying, construction layout, and heavy civil infrastructure Basic understanding of grades, elevations, and construction drawings Willingness to learn and work in active jobsite environments Strong work ethic, teamwork, and communication skills Valid driver''s license Why Join L.C.L.?
