Date: Jan 6, 2026 Location: New Westminster, BC, Canada Company: Lookout Housing and Health Society Employment Status: Full Time Permanent Job Summary The Manager is responsible for the oversight of Russell Residence and Housing Centre, ensuring all clientele receive the pertinent service. Salary will be negotiated depending on experience and qualifications, and includes a benefits and pension plan. Use of a vehicle is required to travel between sites. Manager is responsible for complying with and contributing to all aspects of health and safety program. Job Duties Key duties and responsibilities include: Overseeing the daily operation of the site, directing and overseeing programs, ensuring goals and philosophy of the Society and programs are met, and maintaining minimal barrier, opendoor service to adult men and women who are disenfranchised. Personnel management including hiring, training, discipline, appraisals, payroll support and workforce development. Managing and controlling finances of the programs, maintaining and reporting on statistics and services, ensuring regulations including health & safety are met. Providing direct service to clientele, overseeing medication and comfort program. Liaising with neighbourhood and service community, dealing with the public, other service agencies and professionals. Qualifications & Competence Degree or Diploma in Social Service or Health field or equivalent education and experience; clinical designation is an asset. Five years experience with healthspecific programming such as mental health, harm reduction, traumainformed practices; experience in a clinical setting is an asset. Five years experience in community social service sector. Minimum of three years supervisory experience in a unionized environment. Experience with scheduling, payroll, budgeting and human resources is an asset. Knowledge of income assistance, affordable housing, health and trauma resources, program budgets and reporting. Strong collaborative approach, proven ability to lead staff, strong timemanagement, communication and conflictresolution skills, and strong reporting, organization and computer skills. First Aid Certificate (Level 1); Criminal Record Clearance Vulnerable Sector; Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (asset). Closing Date Applications accepted until January 13, 2026 at 5:00 pm.
