Role Overview The TikTok Shop Strategy & Operations Manager is the strategic right hand to the Head of TikTok Shop the internal consultant, systems architect, and execution champion behind one of our fastest-growing commerce channels. Youll build playbooks, design workflows, optimize operational systems, and ensure the entire TikTok Shop ecosystem (across four shops) is aligned with brand and revenue goals. This is a full-time North America position with influence across creators, community, reporting, paid amplification, and shop operations. Key Responsibilities Partner directly with the Head of TikTok Shop to set quarterly objectives, resource plans, and strategic initiatives. Stay ahead of TikTok Shop updates, beta programs, and new features to identify earlymover advantages. Build internal playbooks, SOPs, and repeatable systems for sourcing, onboarding, community, reporting, and creator management. Ensure tactical execution aligns with shop and brand priorities across all teams. Audit and optimize shop operations, including listings, logistics, messaging flows, creator onboarding, and content QC. Develop performance dashboards, trackers, and operational reporting in collaboration with data teams. Support campaign planning (Mega Sale Days, Flash Sales, GMV pushes). Identify bottlenecks across the system and deploy fast solutions. Lead crossfunctional alignment between ops, paid media, community, and creators. Drive experimentation frameworks across creators, messaging, content formats, and GMV Max. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Ontime execution of strategic initiatives. Increase in weekly/monthly GMV driven by system improvements. Efficiency gains from new processes and automation. Creator onboarding speed + activation rate improvement. Reduction in operational errors, backlogs, and shop issue. Success Benchmarks (306090 Days) 30 Days Deeply understand all four shops, current strategies, team workflows, and bottlenecks. Document existing processes and identify immediate improvement areas. Establish weekly reporting rhythm with leadership. 60 Days Roll out improved SOPs for sourcing, onboarding, community management, and messaging. Launch at least one new automation or efficiency tool. Align all shop operations under a unified execution framework. 90 Days Produce measurable GMV lift driven by operational excellence. Deploy a scalable playbook for all TikTok Shop processes. Present a roadmap for nextstage improvements (tech, workflow, automation). Required Skills & Qualifications Must-Have 35+ years of overall experience in ecommerce, social commerce, operations, or growth, with 12 years of experience in TikTok Shop strategy and operations. Strong understanding of TikTok Shop, affiliate ecosystems, or marketplace operations. Proven ability to build SOPs, systems, and scalable processes. Analytical mindset with strong comfort in dashboards, spreadsheets, and reporting. Ability to operate crossfunctionally and keep teams aligned. Fast execution speed comfortable making decisions with imperfect information. Nice-to-Have Experience in performance marketing, GMV Max, or creatorled commerce. Prior consulting, strategy, or operations background. Familiarity with Airtable, Notion, reporting tools, or automation platforms. Experience in a highgrowth startup or directresponse environment.
