This role requires a sharp analytical eye, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and ensure projects are accurately estimated and executed smoothly. Key Responsibilities: Analyze project scopes and review specifications to determine precise requirements. Identify materials and labor needs, obtaining subcontractor bids and proposals. Resolve any plan discrepancies and ensure timely completion of estimates. Prepare and present cost evaluations and recommendations to stakeholders. Present and successfully sell projects. Maintain and update project cost data for continuous improvement and future reference. Conduct quantity takeoffs and attend client meetings to ensure alignment on project goals. Present proposals confidently to clients, managing follow-up communications to close sales. Job Requirements: Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, ideally within landscape, irrigation, or hardscape projects. Sales experience must have. Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting plans and specifications. Knowledgeable in plant materials, irrigation systems, and hardscape features. Associate or Bachelors degree in construction management, landscape architecture, or a related field. Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite.
