Job Description

Reporting to the Program Manager, Pricing, the Senior Claims Coordinator will liaison with Merchandising, Sales and Category Managers to obtain, analyze and report on the deviated cost program and associated opportunities. The Senior Claims Coordinator will also be responsible for optimizing the deviated cost process and to drive efficiencies.Specifically, You Will:The Senior Claims Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the front-end of the deviated cost program.Work with Sales and Merchandising, reporting on the state of slow producing contracts, and expiring contracts.In this position, the Senior Claims Coordinator will analyze customer usage to identify cost deviation opportunities and will work with Vendors and Sales to secure better costs for new and existing customers who qualify for deviated costing.Implement and manage the life cycle of new claims.The Senior Claims Coordinator will work with the Program Manager, Pricing in providing detail reports to the Margin Manager, Category Managers, Sales, as well as, merchandising on the overall state of the program, including number of customers on program, margin by customer, deviated income by period, expiring and renewed contracts, as well as other metrics to be determined or as required.The successful candidate will also process vendor payments, and any other additional tasks as assigned.
