Overview Commercial Truck Equipment, a leading supplier of commercial vehicles and equipment, is seeking a full-time Receptionist to join our Edmonton, AB branch. As the first point of contact for our customers, the Receptionist plays a pivotal role in shaping the customer experience and representing our company''s professionalism and values by confidently exuding friendliness and professionalism. Reporting directly to the Office Manager, this full-time permanent position offers a diverse range of responsibilities and opportunities for growth within a dynamic team environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and highly organized. This is an on-site position with set weekday hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM). Accounts Payable Oversee all mail, courier deliveries, and package handling to ensure timely distribution and accurate record-keeping. Greet and manage visitors, ensuring a secure, welcoming, friendly, and organized experience. Coordinate and maintain office supplies, including inventory management and vendor relationships for services such as cleaning, coffee, and other essentials. Ensure the functionality and maintenance of office equipment, including postage machines, printers, and water coolers, scheduling servicing as necessary. Support team operations with administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and material assembly. Manage and reconcile petty cash to support day-to-day office needs. Assist in the preparation, printing, and finishing of project documents, books, and binders. Monitor and ensure the upkeep of office plants and communal spaces, maintaining a clean and organized environment. Partner with janitorial services to ensure service quality and appropriate stock levels are maintained. Assist in office event planning and execution. Contribute to team success by performing additional duties as needed in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Qualifications and Experience Commercial is looking for someone who has the experience to make a smooth transition into this position and hit the ground running. We will consider candidates from all backgrounds and industries. 2+ years of related experience is required Experience with multi-line phone switchboards is considered a strong asset Experience and/or knowledge of truck/industry is considered a strong asset Basic mechanical, automotive, and/or heavy equipment knowledge is not required but is considered an asset. Desired Skills and Attributes Commitment to providing outstanding internal/external customer service. Detail oriented, dependable, and punctual. Strong computer skills are helpful, and knowledge of Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, O365 including SharePoint and OneDrive, as well as Acrobat is preferred. Drive and commitment. A strong desire to advance personally and professionally. Independent, reliable, amiable, driven, self-motivated, detail-oriented.
