Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. Must be available on weekends and holidays. Duties Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, ensuring quality and freshness Cook dishes according to recipes and presentation standards Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and utensils Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple orders Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and high-quality food presentation Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Strong understanding of food handling procedures and hygiene practices Excellent teamwork and communication skills Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment are a plus A passion for food industry trends and a commitment to quality meal preparation This position is ideal for individuals eager to grow their culinary skills in a professional setting while contributing to a positive dining experience.
