We Are Hiring Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Contract / Part-time (with possibility to grow) About MultilinguAbilities MultilinguAbilities is an intercultural and multidisciplinary practice that supports multilingual, multicultural, and neurodivergent families. Our work is grounded in respect for language, culture, identity, and lived experience. We specialize in supporting children and youth with complex communication needs through FSCD, BDS, and Specialized Services, using a collaborative, family-centred, and trauma-informed approach. Position Summary: We are looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is passionate about working with diverse families and children with complex communication profiles. The SLP will provide assessment, intervention, and collaborative support in close partnership with families and an interdisciplinary team that includes Occupational Therapists, Behaviour Consultants, Family Coaches, and administrative staff. This role is ideal for someone who values meaningful relationships, cultural humility, and flexible, responsive clinical practice. It is important to clarify that this position is not an office-based role. The responsibilities of this role are carried out primarily in our clients'' homes, where therapy sessions are provided directly and in a personalized manner. For this reason, applicants must be available to travel and feel comfortable working in family environments, while always maintaining a high level of professionalism, ethics, and respect. This approach allows us to provide more meaningful, contextualized, and effective services that are centered on the real needs of each family. Your Role: Provide speech and language assessment and intervention for children and youth with diverse communication needs Support receptive and expressive language, social communication, and AAC (low-tech and high-tech) Collaborate closely with families in culturally responsive and respectful ways Participate in interdisciplinary planning and case collaboration Contribute to ISPs, progress notes, and required FSCD documentation Support communication goals within daily routines and real-life contexts Attend team meetings and clinical discussions as needed Qualifications: Master''s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Registered and in good standing with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA). Strong understanding of communication development, early childhood practices, and family-centered care. Experience with multilingual populations is an asset. Proficiency in additional languages is valued. Clear Criminal Record and Child Intervention checks. Valid driver''s license and access to reliable transportation. Certification in Child and Infant CPR and First Aid.
