Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight, equipment, and personnel to various locations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and vehicle maintenance. The Driver will operate different types of vehicles, including trucks and heavy equipment, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to all traffic and safety regulations. A background in automotive repair and experience with forklift operation are highly desirable to support efficient handling of freight and equipment. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and heavy equipment, to transport freight and materials between locations Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for all shipments Perform routine vehicle maintenance or coordinate repairs with service teams Assist with the operation of heavy machinery or equipment when required Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate deliveries Skills Valid driver''s license with a clean driving record suitable for commercial driving Experience operating forklifts and handling freight logistics Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and safety procedures Basic automotive repair skills for minor troubleshooting and maintenance Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and scheduling Ability to operate heavy machinery safely in various environments Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Physical ability to load/unload freight, operate heavy equipment, and perform routine vehicle inspections Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 50 per week Work Location: In person
