Position: Intermediate Systems Administrator/Operations Support Specialist Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract) Client Location: Toronto ( Onsite : 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday) Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement B2B (Incorporated Entities Only) Note on Assignment Type This position is provisionally Onsite , requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM , Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager. About the Engagement We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Systems Administrator / Operations Support Specialist to provide end-to-end technical and operational support for JVN technologies within a high-profile, enterprise environment. This role involves managing audio-visual and video conferencing systems, coordinating with vendors, onboarding and training external users, and ensuring seamless service delivery for judiciary and public stakeholders. The resource will maintain system documentation, monitor service performance, participate in technology projects, and drive process improvements aligned with ITIL best practices. Scope Support AV, telecommunications, and video conferencing systems used by remote witnesses, legal counsel, and public users. Maintain system documentation, manuals, onboarding/training materials, and logs. Coordinate with third-party vendors for upgrades, repairs, and service performance. Assist with system testing, documentation, and deployment of new technologies. Assignment Deliverables Troubleshoot and resolve audio-visual, conferencing, and telecom issues across multiple channels. Manage system documentation and process improvements; validate logs and user access. Provide technical orientation and setup support to diverse user groups. Liaise with vendors to coordinate repairs/upgrades and ensure service quality. Expertise Required Must Have: 2+ years in operations/support, including AV, video conferencing (Zoom, MS Teams, Webex), and related hardware (Crestron, Extron). Knowledge of telecommunications, VoIP/PBX fundamentals, and network basics (TCP/IP, bandwidth). Experience reviewing/validating logs and performing system upgrades. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to guide non-technical users, including judiciary stakeholders. Nice to Have: Knowledge of communications protocols (ISDN), signal flow, HDMI/USB connectivity. Experience supporting AV setups for public/legal contexts. Awareness of emerging AV/conferencing trends. Security Clearance Required. Important This is a business-to-business engagement.
