Roles and Responsibilities: Actively contribute to the development and execution of best practices to enhance overall effectiveness. Diligently monitor and assess the performance of casework staff to ensure high standards of service. Take charge of or support caseload management, including facilitating court hearings, conducting case reviews, coordinating family meetings, and managing in-person contacts as necessary. Consistently maintain accurate statistics and deliver insightful reports on a regular basis. Play an essential role in training and coaching generalists, empowering them with the skills required for responsible job performance. Provide leadership in overseeing the foster and kinship program, PMSS, and intervention team to ensure successful outcomes. Foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen partnerships. Safeguard sensitive and confidential information with the utmost integrity. Collaborate effectively with supervisors, management, and practitioners to assess performance and propose targeted actions that align with HR policies and procedures. Stay informed about all departmental operations to enhance contributions. Implement vigorous support systems that empower team members. Partner with the interdisciplinary team to drive successful service delivery outcomes. Dedicate yourself to continuous learning of traditional Indigenous Sunchild approaches to enrich our collective knowledge. Be ready for on-call work as necessary to ensure service continuity and support. Prepare the schedule for the on-call team. Other duties as required. Qualifications: A degree or master''s in social work or human services related to social work, child and youth care, psychology, social science, or other related fields is required. A master''s degree is preferred. Municipal or non-profit management, risk assessment, governance, and partnership development A solid understanding of the philosophy of prevention, protection and permanency and the ability to apply that understanding to families and communities. Knowledge and experience in financial planning, budgeting and reporting. Demonstrate the ability to relate effectively to people of diverse economic, social and cultural backgrounds. Superior verbal and written communication skills enhanced organizational and advanced computer skills. Demonstrated experience working with community boards and volunteers. Knowledge of issues and practices of CFS and the impact on children and families; services to children, family dynamics, and an understanding of the sensitive situations'' families experience Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Excel (spreadsheets and pivot tables), PowerPoint, database applications, e-mail, team meetings, and video conferencing. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines and work without direct supervision. Valid Class 5 Driver''s License and clean drivers abstract.
