We are seeking a friendly and organized Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our team and assist in the day-to-day operations of the clinic. Key Responsibilities: Patient Booking: Schedule patient appointments, ensuring smooth flow of bookings and efficient time management. Billing: Process patient billing, including billing extended health care benefits and insurance claims and following up on outstanding payments. Customer Service: Answer phone calls from patients, address inquiries, and providing exceptional service. Communication with Insurance Companies: Assist with communicating with insurance providers to ensure claims are processed correctly and promptly. General Administrative Support: Maintain patient records, update the scheduling system, and assist with other clerical tasks as required. Qualifications: 2 or more years previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (preferably in a healthcare setting). Knowledge of medical billing, extended health care, and insurance processes. Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or clinic management software. Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
