Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Walker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care, enrichment, and exercise for dogs while ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. As a Dog Walker, you will be working with groups of dogs off-leash on our own private property, facilitating structured pack walks in a safe and controlled environment. You will also be responsible for transporting dogs to and from the property using your own vehicle. Due to the nature of group transport, a large SUV or a van is required for this position. Unfortunately, no other vehicle types will be accepted, as they do not safely accommodate our pack size and equipment needs. This role offers the opportunity to build strong relationships with both dogs and their owners, while contributing to a positive, professional, and enriching experience for everyone involved. Duties Walk a group of dogs off-leash of various sizes and temperaments, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and attention. Maintain control of dogs at all times, ensuring their safety and the safety of others. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog''s behavior, needs, and any concerns that may arise during walks. Clean up after dogs and dispose of waste properly to maintain cleanliness in the community. Monitor the health and behavior of dogs during walks, reporting any unusual signs or issues to pet owners. Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding their dog''s care and preferences. Skills Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with pet owners and address their needs. Ability to manage multiple dogs safely while maintaining focus on each individual pet''s behavior. Excellent communication skills for providing updates to pet owners about their dog''s activities. A genuine love for animals, with an understanding of dog behavior and training basics being a plus. Reliability and punctuality are essential to ensure scheduled walks are completed as promised.
