Job Description

Overview We are seeking a ticketed Autobody Technician preferably, but will consider a 3rd/4th year apprentice. We are NOT looking for painter/preppers at this time. MUST be proficient in metal, assembly/disassembly, and fabrication. Looking for someone with a willingness to keep learning. Must be detail oriented, with a focus on quality of workmanship over speed, we are not a collision shop. Must be punctual and reliable with good communication skills. This role requires proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary. Experience in classic/vintage cars and restoration is a plus but not required. Duties Must be able to disassemble and reassemble a complete vehicle, fit and gap panels, cut and weld quarter panels, replace door skins, etc. We are a hot rod and restoration shop, so work is generally focused on vehicles older than 1980. You will be working on a variety of different vehicles and jobs for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to stay organized and focused with multiple jobs at once. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols. Must be able to speak, read, and write English proficiently. Document all repairs and services performed on each vehicle for record-keeping purposes. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with a strong background in automotive repair. Experience working with hand tools and power tools is essential. Journeyman ticket is preferred but not necessary Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in a physically demanding environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Pay - Hourly pay will be based on experience and ability. Willing to pay the correct candidate top dollar. Benefits - Casual and friendly work environment.
