Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and attentive Gas Station Attendant to provide excellent customer service and ensure smooth operations at our convenience store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, handling transactions, maintaining cleanliness, and promoting a positive shopping experience. Bilingual skills and familiarity with retail sales and POS systems are highly valued to better serve our diverse customer base. This role offers an opportunity to develop communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling, purchases, and inquiries Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions Manage cashiering duties including processing payments, giving change, and balancing cash registers Promote additional products through upselling and product demos Maintain cleanliness of the store, fuel area, and surrounding premises Restock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure attractive displays Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with company policies Assist in inventory management and merchandising efforts Utilize communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members Experience Minimum 1 year of prior experience in gas station is required. Multilingual abilities (e.g., bilingual in English and another language) are a plus for serving diverse customers Familiarity with POS systems, basic math skills, and cash handling procedures are advantageous Strong communication skills, time management, phone etiquette, organizational skills, and the ability to upsell products are desirable traits for success in this role This position offers an engaging work environment where you can develop valuable skills while providing exceptional service to our customers.
