Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role based in Calgary, AB, with flexibility for some remote work. As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will oversee the organization''s financial strategy, planning, and management. Responsibilities include managing financial reporting processes, developing budgets, conducting performance analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role also involves advising executives on financial planning, analyzing growth opportunities, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance financial decision-making. Qualifications Proven expertise in Financial Planning and Finance management Strong skills in raising capital (debt/equity) to help facilitate ongoing M&A activity Strong skills in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting Excellent Analytical Skills for evaluating financial data and making informed decisions Leadership experience, including overseeing financial teams and strategic planning Proficiency in financial systems, compliance, and regulatory knowledge Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent designation preferred) Experience in the energy sector is a strong asset
