As we continue to respond to increased customer demands and requirements, we are hiring a Preventative Maintenance Level 1 Technician at our North Bay location. Our busy, team-oriented shops place a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. The service department is an important area of our business, ensuring that our equipment is ready and available, as well as maintaining a flow of information on that equipment for both the rental staff and the sales staff. Our service technicians are critical to the success of our customer relationships. Job Type: Full-time Wage: $ $22.00 per hour What we offer: Company pension Dental care Disability insurance Employee Assistance Program Employee Stock Purchase Plan Extended health care Life insurance On-site parking Vision care Key Responsibilities: Majority of duties will be cleaning, washing and inspection of our rental construction equipment; Complete quality assurance inspections on equipment; Ensuring all equipment is in clean working condition with all appropriate components. Testing and operation of construction equipment, including, but not limited to, assessment of damages; Perform preventative maintenance on construction equipment, including, but not limited to, maintaining and servicing rental equipment, oil and filter changes; Complete required documentation and data entry; Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work area, shop and branch; Load and unload customer rental equipment when required; Maintain a safe working environment; Assisting other technicians as needed; Follow all Health and Safety policies, while maintaining a safe work environment; Other duties as assigned.
