This position has an end date of August 21, 2026. Location - This role is in-person at North Campus, Edmonton. Position Summary Our science summer camps are hands-on, five day camps that run for eight weeks from June 29 to August 21, 2026. Camps are a collaborative effort between various departments in the Faculty of Science and provide an enriching experience for local youth. Day Camp Leaders will be required to lead educational, scientific demonstrations and activities for children in grades 1-11. Leaders are also responsible for the daily supervision of the student campers. Please note: this position is for underrepresented students working in the field of Chemistry. We are looking for applicants who: be currently participating in a majority of chemistry-focused studies are an underrepresented student including female, rural, BIPOC, socio-economically disadvantaged, low-income students, and first-generation students A criminal record check for working with minors will be required before the position begins.
