EPCm POX Project ManagerDepartment: Project Director TeamReports to: Project DirectorLocation: Mississauga/Vancouver TBD1-year contractPOSITION DESCRIPTIONThe EPCM POX Project Manager will lead planning, engineering, procurement, and construction management activities for a multibilliondollar mining development within specific constraints of time, budget, and scope. This role is responsible for managing project execution across all technical disciplines, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. They will serve as the central hub connecting stakeholders, team members, and leadership throughout the entire project lifecycle. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and stakeholder engagement in a dynamic and remote project environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead the planning, engineering, and execution of the POX and O systems in alignment with Donlin Golds process plant and production objectivesManage the EPCM contractor and ensure seamless integration with other project work streams including power, process, and infrastructureOversee the design, procurement, fabrication, and construction of the POX autoclaves, O plant, and associated utility systemsCoordinate with internal and external engineering teams to ensure designs meet metallurgical and operational requirementsDevelop and manage project budgets, schedules, and risk management plans consistent with Donlin Golds governance frameworkConduct constructability reviews and ensure safe, efficient execution strategies for POX and O installationsEnsure compliance with Donlin Golds Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards and applicable regulatory requirementsOversee commissioning planning and handover to operations, ensuring full alignment with Donlin Golds business readiness planIdentify, assess, and mitigate project risks while maintaining the highest standards of technical quality and safetyPrepare regular progress reports, financial summaries, and status updates for Donlin Gold leadership and key stakeholdersPromote collaboration among engineering, procurement, and construction teams to maintain integration and accountabilityBuild and maintain strong relationships with EPCM partners, suppliers, and regulatory agenciesProvide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and project team membersQUALIFICATIONSEducation & ExperienceBachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum 20 years of largecapital EPCm project management experience in POX, mining, or major infrastructure projects.Skills & CompetenciesAbility to direct and manage a large crossfunctional team, set goals and objectives, and align the team toward achieving those goals.Proven experience managing large capital projects and interfacing with Tier 1 EPCm contractors.Knowledge of POX regulations, safety standards, and environmental considerations.Experience working in coldclimate or remote logistics environments.Familiarity with greenfield projects and seasonal constraints.PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred.Leadership & CommunicationDemonstrated leadership and problemsolving capabilities.Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively and lead across functional and project departments.WHY JOIN USThis is a unique opportunity to help lead the business operations of one of North Americas largest mining projects.
