This position requires an experienced construction professional with a deep understanding of Civil Infrastructure, as well as strong leadership and communication skills to navigate complex design, schedule, estimation, risk and stakeholder relationships and regulatory processes.RESPONSIBILITIESManage and supervise all on-site civil engineering activities related to roads and landscaping within the elevated guideway project.Oversee the civil scope of the project including excavation, grading, curbs, sidewalk, cycle tracks, paving, landscaping and hardscaping.Provide a clear line of communication between the field and the civil manager.Provide regular crew productivity information to the civil manager to develop and maintain detailed lookahead schedules, and track accurately project completion.Coordinate with the Guideway Civil Manager to align construction activities with overall project objectives.Ensure effective interdisciplinary site coordination with other subcontractors and project teams.Maintain progress of the project in accordance with the project schedule.Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with relevant standards, specifications and codes.Ensure that construction activities comply with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.Complete regular site safety inspections and align with the project Health and Safety management policies.Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during construction.Complete and maintain daily site records/diary.Assist with scheduling and coordination of supplier and sub-contractors.Act as the primary contact site contact for stakeholder and client inspection staff.Facilitate regular meetings and communication to ensure alignment and collaboration among all parties involved.Manage and supervise a team and promote a learning and growth culture.DESIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES5-7 years of structures construction management and supervision experience with experience in large infrastructure project preferred.Preferred Bachelors Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Construction Management.
