This includes working in the elements in all weather conditions.Operate scale and computer system; weigh vehicles in and out; direct disposers to the proper disposal area; inspect loads; issues ticket; collect fees; prepare daily and monthly reports; other duties necessary to track landfill usersGreet visitors, answers telephones and other miscellaneous clerical dutiesAssist with tracking invoices for solid waste disposal feesPerform minor load screening and working in the disposal area, talking to disposers to provide information on site rules and restrictionsPerform site litter collection and minor custodial tasksAssist with other projects as requiredQualifications:Customer Service ExperiencePrevious experience working in a Landfill environment is considered an assetPrevious scale experience is considered an assetThis is more than a job - its your opportunity to be part of something bigger.
