Role DescriptionThis is a casual contract position, on-site opportunity for a Child and Youth and Adults Counsellor at our West Kelowna, BC location. The successful candidate will provide counselling services tailored to the needs of children and youth, guiding them through challenges and fostering their personal development. Key responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing individualized plans, providing therapeutic support, and collaborating with families and community partners to promote client well-being and growth. QualificationsProficiency in Youth Services, Youth Development, and Working With Children.To work independently with Adults and SeniorsExpertise in Social Work or Counselling Psychology experience in providing professional counselling services.Strong knowledge of Psychology as it applies to children and youth development.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients, families, and community organizations.Must be a Registered Social Worker (RSW) or a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in good standing.Previous experience in providing mental health services to children and youth is an asset.Ability to work collaboratively in a client-centered environment.Education in Social Work, Counselling Psychology Psychology, or a related field at a degree level is required.
