A locum opportunity is available for a family physician at Port Hardy Medical Centre.Excellent family practice opportunity located adjacent to Port Hardy Hospital, in a modern and growinggroup practice in a fully owned and operated Island Health facility. This is an exciting opportunity to practice rural health care, and to join colleagues that include neighboring rural physicians in providing full spectrum Primary Care to EmergencyServices in the Mount Waddington region.Start DateAs soon as possible.May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:Fee Premium: 22.26%Rural GP Locum Program provides $900/day to locum physician with 43 days/annum locum coverage to resident physician.The colorful seaside community of Port Hardy, on the north-eastern coast of Vancouver Island, is the largest town of the North Island and is the gateway to Cape Scott Provincial Park.The community is home to a population of 3,800 residents and offers affordable housing and boasts a broad range of services and retail outlets.
