We are currently seeking one fulltime employee to enforce the City's Animal Control Bylaw No. 7860 and Dangerous Animal Bylaw No. 8176. Applicants must be bondable, and have a valid drivers license. Experience with animals and bylaw enforcement would be an asset but is not necessary. Training in both will be provided. Applicants must be available to work shift work including evenings and weekends. Must reside within city limits. Responsibilities Investigate and identify bylaw infractions Prepare court documents Respond to and document all enquiries from the public Handle animals and transport Bike patrol Resolve and report on infractions Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Grade 12) No prior experience required Bondable and valid drivers licence Availability for shift work, evenings & weekends Residency within Saskatoon city limits Please note: The position may be filled prior to the application date, should the right applicant apply.
