We serve families, youth, and community groups across the Comox Valley in a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment.As Venue Manager, you will lead our operations team and be the driving force behind excellent guest experiences, staff engagement, and operational success.About the RoleThe Venue Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, staff leadership, and guest satisfaction. Youll work directly with ownership to ensure the venue runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently while maintaining high standards for cleanliness, safety, and fun.This is a hands-on leadership role. Youll be supporting shifts, coaching team members, and directly interacting with guests, all while shaping the culture of the workplace.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and support team leads and floor staffHire, train, and develop team membersConduct regular check-ins, performance feedback, and mentorshipOversee daily scheduling and staffing levelsEnsure compliance with BC Employment Standards and safety regulationsMaintain facility cleanliness, safety, and operational readinessHandle guest concerns with professionalism and empathyEnsure birthday parties, group events, and attractions run smoothlyMaintain a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for all guestsManage cash handling, reporting, and shift accountabilityAssist leadership with budgeting and operational planningWhat Do You Bring to the Team?35+ years of experience in hospitality, food & beverage, retail, family entertainment or attractionsProven leadership experience, preferably in fast-paced, customer-facing environmentsStrong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skillsCalm under pressure and confident in decision-makingPassion for delivering outstanding guest experiencesWhy Work at Archies?Competitive payFlexible scheduling4 Paid Mental Health days per a year after 3-months to use at your discretion.Learning & Support Allowance: $1,000 after 3 monthsMental health support & free confidential counsellingDental, vision, and prescription coverage for eligible employeesTransit pass support for students or staff without a vehicleTeam-building events, social parties, and celebrationsFully stocked staff room with snacks and drinksFamily and Friends discount at Archies.Think youll be a good fit?
