As Director of Property Management, you will report directly to the Vice President and lead a team that values collaboration and results.Your New RoleAs the Director of Property Management, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the property management division while driving strategic initiatives to grow the business. In the initial phase, as this is a start-up environment, you will personally manage a portfolio of approximately 100 properties to ensure service excellence and establish best practices. Over time, the long-term goal is to transition into a pure leadership role, building and guiding a dedicated team as the division scales. You will be responsible for creating and implementing systems and processes that enhance efficiency and compliance, ensuring the division operates at the highest standard. In addition to managing operations, you will mentor and motivate team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. You will set and monitor performance metrics, ensuring the team meets key business objectives related to financial performance, occupancy, and tenant satisfaction. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on execution, with a strong focus on client engagement and operational oversight.What You Need to SucceedYou bring at least seven years of experience in residential property management (third party individual units). You are a licensed Property Manager in British Columbia and have a strong understanding of the Residential Tenancy Act. You are known for your ability to lead teams, implement systems, and deliver measurable results. Your communication skills allow you to build strong relationships with owners, residents, and internal stakeholders, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment where strategic thinking and operational execution go hand in hand.What You Get in ReturnThis role offers a competitive salary of $120,000$130,000 plus annual bonus & leasing bonuses, extended health benefits, and three weeks of vacation.
