Job Description

Title: Business Central Functional ConsultantExperience Required: 8+ yearsMandatory Expectations:Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manageclient expectations and interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Oversee the implementation of Business Central solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.Ensure that solutions meet client needs while adhering to both business requirements and technical specifications.Proactively engage with clients to ensure expectations are met and address any concerns promptly.Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the team and project workflows.Facilitate knowledge transfer and cross-training within the team to enhance skills and ensure continuity across projects.Maintain a positive, collaborative team culture and ensure the team is aligned with organizational goals.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to support their professional development.Ensure team resources are optimally utilized, minimizing idle time and aligning tasks with team members' strengths.Effectively delegate tasks and manage workload to maintain high productivity.Encourage continuous learning through mentoring, knowledge-sharing sessions, and relevant training.Develop strategies for the team to meet goals and drive performance.Complete end-to-end project management, from requirement gathering to delivery.Ensure Client delight and Team delight by maintaining high satisfaction levels and fostering a positive work environment.Manage time sheets per project to track effort and project status accurately.Prepare client proposals and ensure they meet client requirements and align with project scope.Maintain regular client communication, providing updates on project progress and addressing concerns.Assign tasks to team members and estimate effort for project activities, ensuring proper allocation.Preferred Expectations:Take a hands-on approach to mentoring and developing junior team members, ensuring they grow both technically and professionally.Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment where team members feel empowered to collaborate effectively.Proactively identify areas for innovation within project delivery and team processes, drivingimprovements that lead to better solutions.Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities to overcome challenges during project execution.Assist in pre-sales activities, providing functional expertise and advising on Business Central solutions.Monitor team members' participation in training programs to ensure skills are being applied and identify further training needs.Technical Expectations:Strong experience in implementing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, with expertise across core modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Procurement).Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and configure Business Central to meet those needs.Skilled in mapping business processes to Business Central functionality, identifying gaps, and recommending solutions.Proficient in managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring resources, timelines, and budgets are efficiently managed.Experience in data migration tasks, ensuring smooth and accurate data transfer between systems and Business Central.Ability to manage integration efforts between Business Central and other business systems.Experience in developing and executing testing plans to ensure the solution functions correctly and meets client requirements.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system defects during and after deployment.Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively use Business Central in their daily operations.Develop user documentation and provide ongoing post-deployment support
