Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$106,175.00/yr - $138,096.00/yrPosition SummaryThe Business Operations Manager manages, trains, coaches, and directs a team of Full Time Field Leaders/District Managers, who in turn manage a large team of full time managers and part time Sales Advisors who are responsible for supporting and executing all Costco Vendor Events, CDS Canadas projects, and initiatives within a specific geographic area to ensure all operational KPIs are met. The role collaborates with the Director of Sales, field personnel at all levels, and all business support units to maintain operational excellence and effectiveness.Essential Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesSupervisoryRegularly travel to markets for District Manager development, warehouse audits, and performance reviewsOversee and provide direction for recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training associatesAchieve job results through coaching, counseling, and discipline of associates; monitor, plan, and appraise job resultsOverall performance management of District Managers providing direction, guidance, and support where necessaryConduct weekly conference calls with DMs to communicate program updates and strategic prioritiesProject Scheduling / Coordination / Management / MaintenanceAchieve business execution and event/project compliance objectives by prioritizing and organizing multiple event/project priorities with local managers and Event SpecialistsAccomplish specific client and division goals through adequate staffing and on-date execution according to event manual direction and food safety guidelines as appropriateCustomer Relations (Internal / External)Build strong, frequent, and consistent interactions with Costco Operations at warehouse level to achieve overall execution objectivesPersonnel DevelopmentObserve District Managers in field and in daily job dutiesDevelop personalized development plans for each associate category, successors, and contributors; take action on top/bottom performers specific to individual needsAdministration / ReportingRegular review and analysis of CAR reports and provide plan of actions based on resultsEnsure GM survey results achieve target of 9/10Budget / Expense ControlControl expense/supply/travel etc.Ensure labor hours are within budgetBilingual in English and FrenchSupervisory ResponsibilitiesDirect ReportsHire, retain, train, coach, guide, direct, and develop direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resourcesIndirect ReportsDelegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reportsTravel and/or Driving RequirementsTravel and Driving is an essential duty and function of this jobTravel up to 30-40%Minimum QualificationsEducation Level (Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceField of Study/Area of Experience: Click here to enter text.5+ years of experience in Retail Sales Manager or District Manager within the sales and marketing agency industry, or a direct sales company2-5 years of Supervisory experienceSkills, Knowledge And AbilitiesStrong initiative and self-directed, ability to work independently with little or no supervisionStrong understanding and experience managing large remote sales team operationsAbility to work through others with strong delegation skillsStrong organizational and follow up skillsMathematical and analytical abilityStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong understanding of retail reporting systemsBasic to intermediate PC skills; includes spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation softwareEnvironmental & Physical RequirementsIncumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.
