This facetoface role will build new business by driving new revenue, transactions, and sales growth with new accounts, agents, and customers across West Greater Toronto Area. It is an important part of our overall strategy as we propel growth in a competitive business environment. In this pivotal role, you will play an integral part in the Western Union sales organization. Role Responsibilities Discover, sign, and activate highrevenue, highpotential retail stores across the assigned territory, focusing on independently owned microbusinesses such as grocery stores, convenience stores, check cashers, and multiservice retailers. Conduct inperson visits with prospective accounts, traveling the assigned territory 45 days per week to build relationships and drive new business acquisition. This may involve traveling overnight once or twice per month as appropriate for business needs. Manage the endtoend sales process, including lead generation, qualifying opportunities based on revenue potential, presenting the value proposition, contract negotiation, signing, training, merchandising, and earlylife account support. Deliver new highvolume agent locations while ensuring all new contracts are secured at a positive contribution margin. Ensure a smooth handover of productive and activated agents to the Account Management team. Scan the territory regularly to identify and prioritize highquality retail prospects, leveraging Market Information and ForeignBorn population data to build a robust pipeline. Support new agent onboarding by collecting required documents, conducting agent training, and managing hardware and software installation to ensure successful activation. Generate and analyze reports to identify opportunities, anticipate risks, and optimize performance during the rampup process. Secure structured deals and competitor takeaways to maximize Western Unions market share. Manage existing network relationships when required, providing business and operational support to ensure continuity and drive channel growth. This position will require regular travel within a defined territory. Role Requirements 70% Travel Expected. Minimum 23 years of sales experience, preferably within the Money Transfer or financial services industry. A documented track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and successfully onboarding highperformance retail partners. High School Diploma or equivalent. Multilingual is highly preferred. Fluency in English is required. Valid Drivers License is required, as this role requires frequent travel within the defined territory. Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage internal and external stakeholders. Ability to build and maintain a highquality pipeline, analyze market data, and identify highopportunity leads. Salary The ontarget earnings range is $110,000 - $120,000 CAD per year, which includes a base salary plus a highimpact commission structure that aligns with individual and company performance.
