Cabin Resource Management Ltd. has built a foundation of experience and dedication to quality and innovative solutions in forestry, heritage, wildfire planning and resource analysis. We are currently looking to add a Junior Archaeologist Co-Op Student to our Heritage team for 2026. Responsibilities As a Junior Archaeologist you will be responsible for the following: Practice archaeological excavation techniques, using digital archaeological site-recording practices, and regulatory archaeological practices This is a field based role working on archaeological excavations, field surveys, impact statements, and community orientated projects Work alongside First Nations archaeologists, technicians and Knowledge Keepers throughout the Southern Interior Qualifications and Experience Currently enrolled in Anthropology, First Nations & Indigenous Studies, Geography, or Earth Sciences Willingness to work in close collaboration with First Nations Interest in working in anti-colonial business perspectives Experience working outdoors or hobbies related to outdoor activities Familiarity with syilx, Secwpemc, Sinixt, and/or Nlakapamux cultural heritage is considered an asset What we offer A positive, dynamic and inclusive work environment for everyone Per diem for out of town shifts The chance to work with an awesome team and work in the outdoors High opportunity to transition to a full time position should they arise Cabin is committed to LGBTQ+ inclusion in the workplace by creating a diverse and inclusive work environment for everyone.
