Warehouse - Cycle Count Coordinator - Shift 1 (7:30am - 3:30pm)197 Norseman St, Etobicoke, ON M8Z 2R5, CanadaJob DescriptionPosted Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 5:00 AMPOSITION RESPONSIBILITES:Staging sleeves and returning sleevesReturning and investigating discrepancies in IML LabelsInvestigating and looking for missing skids, System Scans (POUTs and MOUTs - Printing out and Molding out)Perform Cycle Counting (2 aisles per day) and inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, if anyCoordinating all physical inventories and physically pulling out CUSOBS (customer obsolete) and scapingAssisting with loading and offloading trucks as business demands with the forkliftUsing the scissor lift for pulling down boxes, cycle counts, etc.Assisting inventory analysts with physical and systematic collection of data and investigationAbility to identify opportunities for process improvement.Resolve any variances between physical and actual counts per scheduleResearch and provide cause analysis of inventory discrepanciesOther duties as assigned.SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Educational Requirements: Grade 12 education or equivalentMinimum Experience/Field: Experience in cycle counting preferred in a fast paced Production/Manufacturing environmentLicenses/Permits Required: Must be a licensed Forklift operator(both Reach and Counterbalance)Communication Skills: must have good command of the English language both verbal and writtenAdditional Education/Experience/Skills: Movement in and around facility; ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs; bend, twist, kneel, squat, and other motions necessary for inventory management; near vision, color discrimination, depth perception, and tactile discrimination; ability to concentrate for extended period of time in disruptive environment; close visual acuity needed for the computer; ability to deal with confrontational situations in a positive and professional manner.CORE COMPETENCIES FOR THIS POSITION:Ability to anticipate and handle challenging situations effectively, seeking input and involving others when possibleConsistently uses good judgement while decision making, analyses problems from different angles to seek alternatives before determining best solutionsDemonstrates a strong sense of urgency, assuming responsibility without being asked in order to achieve resultsAbility to prioritize tasks and support multiple departmentsStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to work with minimal supervisionPolytainers Inc. is committed to providing accessible employment practices that are in compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
