Permanent Vacancy - Facilities Crew Lead The District of Lake Country has an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Facilities Team Lead based in Lake Country, BC. About the Opportunity Reporting to the Parks & Facilities Manager, Facilities Crew Lead supervises the daytoday operational activities of the District's Facilities Crew and is responsible for overseeing daily facility operations, while ensuring building safety and compliance in a complex nature. Responsibilities Supervise, schedule and assign tasks to Facilities Operations employees; Oversee and assist with the maintenance and repairs of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, space management, fire suppression and grounds; Coordinate and manage external vendors and contractors for all related services, and construction projects. More About You To qualify for this role, you must have completed a two-year technical or vocational school diploma in one of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, or refrigeration; or a related field and a minimum of 4 years experience practical experience in building maintenance, janitorial procedures, minor construction equipment use, maintenance, safety. Additionally, a valid British Columbia Drivers License (Class 5) and the ability to obtain and maintain RCMP security clearance level 2 is required. As our ideal candidate, you have thorough knowledge of the theory, practices and procedures of facilities maintenance and excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills with strong attention to detail.
