Food Store Supervisor PositionBanhMi Box is a Vietnamese food store specializing in fresh banh mi, beverages, and traditional Vietnamese flavours. Currently we have 8 locations in different areas, including Kingsway, Hastings, West Broadway, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, Coquitlam and Langley. We serve Vietnamese sandwiches (banh mi), from classics to options for vegetarians, vegan, and halal diets.Please visit our website at obanhmi.ca for more information.At this time, we need a Food Store Supervisor for a fulltime permanent position. It is 40 hours per week, at $38 per hour, plus gratuity and all required benefits such as vacation, holiday and sick leave. Performance bonus would be available based on performance. Start date: as soon as possible.Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff.Assign daily duties and establish work schedules.Train new staff and ensure proper food handling & safety standards.Monitor inventory, order supplies, and control food costs.Resolve customer complaints and operational issues.Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with health regulations.Prepare sales, inventory, and staff performance reports.Assist management with daily store operations.Qualifications:Language: English (Vietnamese is an asset).Minimum 1 year experience in food services.Postsecondary or foodservice related certificate is an asset.Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.Strong leadership and organizational skills.Attention to detail and customerfocused mindset.We welcome you to our team.
