Someone who is eager to learn, strong in organization and communication, and ready to support the buying team with accuracy and initiative.Job ResponsibilitiesAssist Buyer in purchase and follow up on product availability, ship dates, and order statusAssist in developing product assortments and seasonal selectionsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key vendorsKeep head office and retail teams informed about inventory levels and key product updatesReview sales performance and inventory levels to ensure healthy stock positionsConduct administrative tasks such as weekly reporting, data collection and other clerical tasksSecure products for promotions and marketing initiativesMonitor inventory productivity and identify opportunitiesSupport the strategy for managing aged or slow-moving inventorySupport with product movement including weekly deliveries and store transfersConduct store visits and communicate product feedback head office teamCollaborate and provide support to store teams as neededRequired Skills/ExperienceBachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related field (an asset)Full proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong skills in other computer applications, including ERP systemsAbility to analyze reports, identify market trends, and assist in preparing sales forecastsExperience monitoring and executing inventory plans to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize surplus, and support store transfersAble to perform well under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and spoken English (French is an asset)Solid commercial awareness: experience in fashion or retail is considered an advantageStrong service orientation when partnering with internal store teamsCreative thinker with strong problem-solving abilitiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsA proactive, detail-oriented, organized team playerPay range: $45,000 - 55,000/annuallyThis is a vacant position.Fox Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion and we encourage applications from all qualified candidates, including those with disabilities.
