This role leads inventory and demand planning, provides strategic insights through data analysis, optimizes logistics and operational efficiency, and develops a high-performing SCM team in Canada. This position will report to GM, Amorepacific Canada.Principal AccountabilitiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Planning (40%)Analyze sell-in and sell-thru data to determine optimal inventory levels across warehouses and customer distribution centers.Ensure inventory availability while minimizing excess stock and obsolescence risk.Oversee and review planning outputs from the Planning team to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business priorities.Consolidate and validate overall demand and supply plans to support commercial and operational decision-making.Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and HQ to align forecasts and execution plans.Supply Chain Analytics (35%)Review customer budgets, forecasts, and current sell-thru performance to project short and mid-term sales trends.Build detailed sales, demand, and inventory plans, ensuring alignment with both HQ expectations and customer requirements.Anticipate overall business flow by analyzing sell-in vs. sell-thru, weeks of supply (WOS), and gap analysis to identify risks and opportunities.Provide strategic insights and recommendations to drive channel-specific growth (e.g., Sephora,Amazon, Holt, TJX, etc.).Support internal and external business reviews, presenting forecasts, insights, and scenarios in HQ and regional/global meetings.Operations (25%)Manage overall logistics cost efficiency while optimizing end-to-end operational flow.Lead RFP/RFQ processes to evaluate and select suppliers and 3PL partners that support business scalability and growth.Oversee warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, service level performance, and regulatory compliance (e.g., Health Canada, environmental requirements).Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain operations, vendor management, and service delivery.Support internal control processes, audits, and HQ compliance requests.People Management & Team DevelopmentLead, coach, and supervise the SCM Canada team, including Operations, Planning, and Supply Chain Analysts.Provide ongoing coaching, training, and mentorship to develop team capabilities and succession readiness.Conduct performance reviews, goal setting, and promotion planning in alignment with business needs.Foster a collaborative, engaged, and high-performance team culture that supports long-term business growth.Qualification and Experience:Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).810+ years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, analytics, and operations, preferably within consumer goods, retail, or beauty/luxury industries.Proven people leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.Experience working with complex customer channels and global HQ stakeholders.Experience supporting Sephora and/or prestige department stores is an asset.Strong experience managing purchase orders, delivery performance, and inventory allocation.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, macros).Strong working knowledge of SAP (e.g., MM, SD modules).Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools preferred.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.AMOREPACIFIC CANADA, INC is an equal opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
