Your Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Civil/Structural Engineering Student to join our Western Canadian Energy and Resources team. You will work with close guidance on tasks for both large and small projects in a supportive team environment. Projects will vary and may include compressor stations, pump stations, and small brownfield sites. You will gain exposure to a multi-disciplinary team that contributes to the design and delivery of world class energy projects. Your Key Responsibilities Work closely with Engineers and Senior Designers on a variety of assigned projects. Use knowledge of drafting tools to complete assigned tasks including 2D and 3D model development, completing design changes, general arrangement drawing production, redlining, plotting, and drafting using CAD platforms noted below. Perform quality control (QA/QC) of models and sheet files for standards compliance, discipline coordination and ensure comments have been addressed by the responsible CAD Technician and others as required. Work directly with counterparts in other design disciplines to develop accurate and constructable models and layouts. Assist project teams with general duties and requests as required. Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
