Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Stone Mason to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in masonry work, including building stonewalls, stone veneer and concrete blocks. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects such as new construction, renovation, and restoration, utilizing a variety of hand tools and power tools. The Stone Mason will play a vital role in delivering high-quality craftsmanship while adhering to safety standards and project specifications. Responsibilities Construct, repair, stone veneer, stone, and concrete block structures following blueprints and schematics Measure and cut materials accurately using hand tools and power tools Mix mortar and other materials to ensure proper adhesion and structural integrity Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute project plans effectively Operate heavy equipment as needed for large-scale projects or material handling Perform renovation and restoration work on existing masonry structures Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure weatherproofing and durability of structures Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards Experience Proven experience in construction or masonry work with a strong understanding of masonry techniques Familiarity with hand tools such as trowels, chisels, levels, and hammers Experience operating power tools including mixers, saws, and drills Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately Knowledge of heavy equipment operation related to construction sites is a plus Experience in renovation or restoration projects is desirable Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions and schematics Ability to work safely in a construction environment while adhering to safety protocols Own a vehicle to drive to storage yard or to the job site Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour Benefits: Dental care Extended health care Life insurance Work Location: In person
