We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Barre Instructors to join our team. As a Barre Instructor, you will be responsible for leading engaging and challenging barre classes to clients of various fitness levels. Your primary goal will be to provide a safe and effective workout experience while creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all participants. In addition to teaching classes, you will also be expected to build and maintain a strong network of clients. Responsibilities: Teach Barre Classes: Lead dynamic and engaging classes that incorporate elements of ballet, Pilates, and strength training. Develop and deliver well-structured and challenging workouts that cater to participants of different fitness levels and abilities. Provide Instruction and Guidance: Demonstrate proper form and technique for all exercises, ensuring participants perform movements safely and effectively. Offer modifications and progressions to accommodate individual needs and goals. Provide verbal cues and corrections to help participants improve their technique. Create a Welcoming Environment: Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where participants feel motivated and supported. Build rapport with clients and establish a sense of community within the class. Offer encouragement and personalized attention to help clients achieve their fitness goals. Develop Client Relationships: Actively engage with clients before, during, and after classes. Get to know their goals, preferences, and fitness levels. Offer personalized advice and modifications to help them progress in their fitness journey. Develop strong relationships with clients and create a sense of loyalty. Network and Marketing: Proactively promote your classes and the studio through various channels, such as social media, community events, and word-of-mouth. Utilize your network of clients to attract new participants and build a strong following. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies to increase class attendance and attract new clients. Continued Education: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in barre and fitness. Attend workshops, conferences, and training to enhance your skills and knowledge. Share new information and techniques with clients to keep them engaged and informed. Requirements: Must have Group Fitness Instructor Certification (CanFit Pro, BCRPA), or Yoga Certification, or Pilates Certifitcation, or RAD Strong knowledge of dance & fitness techniques, proper form, and modifications Previous experience teaching group fitness classes, preferably barre or related disciplines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and inspire clients of diverse fitness levels Customer-oriented approach and strong client management skills Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for fitness and wellness Proficiency in marketing and networking strategies First aid and CPR with AED certification Join the Poise Fit Barre team as a Barre Instructor and help clients achieve their fitness goals while building a strong network of dedicated participants.
