Join the fastest growing aerospace engineering company on the east coast We''re hiring Engineering Student(s) in our Halifax, NS office for this spring/summer. The Engineering Student will be supporting the operations of Nova Aerospace Structures, working within a team of engineers. As a small company with the goal of market share expansion, our employees are expected to support a variety of tasks, including: technical report writing; quality management; sales proposal support; and other ad-hoc tasks. In our day-to-day, we use classical analysis, finite element analysis, and 3D modeling capabilities to design and analyze aircraft interior products for clients across North America. About You You are studying engineering with an interest in the Aerospace industry. You have strong communication skills and are willing to perform a variety of tasks to accomplish project and company goals. You have a willingness to take on new challenges and learn. Education Working towards a Bachelor''s degree in engineering Entrepreneurial experience or knowledge is an asset Experience 1+ years of full-time study at a Canadian Accredited Engineering Program or equivalent Experience with Microsoft Office Experience with programming languages (VBA, HTML, etc.) considered an asset Experience with engineering software considered an asset Other Requirements Must speak, read and write fluently in English French as a second language is an asset A valid driver''s license and evidence of insurability is an asset Must be able to meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) Must be able to work on-site in Halifax, Nova Scotia What You Will Do The engineering student will perform a variety of tasks in support of Nova Aerospace''s on-going growth. The ideal candidate will be willing to take on a variety of tasks, including the following: Prepare and check engineering reports Support Nova Aerospace Structures'' quality management system Support new processes, report templates or other software tools as required Support the substantiation of aircraft interior products Website development Other ad-hoc duties as required Application Process Please apply through the Indeed application process.
